Y’all know I’m a fan of Christian romance, right? I write Christian romance, after all. And, if it happens to be historical, I love it even more.
So, I just finished reading “Waltz in the Wilderness” by debut author, Kathleen Denly. I gave it 5 stars and posted my review on Good Reads. I’m about to post a review on Amazon, but before I do that, I wanted to share my thoughts with you.
This story has an old soul feel to it that is rare these days. Kathleen Denly tells a tale of adventure and love that readers of Christian romance will enjoy. If you are looking for a book with which to introduce your teen to Christian fiction, this is the book you want. Denly adds a few twists that I didn’t expect, and the danger that the hero and heroine find themselves in is real. Speaking of the heroine, she has plenty of spunk to endear readers to her plight, and the hero’s galant manners and loyalty to doing the right thing make him a man any woman would want. When the end comes, Denly wraps up the story as neat as a bow. Readers young and old will love this sweet story, and I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
Now, what should you do after reading this post? Go to your favorite online book seller and purchase a copy for yourself, of course. You won’t be sorry.
Well, that’s it for this rainy day. It’s about time to see what’s for supper, so I’ll chat with y’all later.
Here’s to Kathleen Denly, and her wonderful story.
