Hi there! Long time no see, right? LOL Y’all probably thought I fell off the face of the earth or something. Thankfully, ole Chris Columbus proved to us the world isn’t flat, so I’m still here. 🙂
I mentioned in a previous post about doing something new. Well, today I have proof. Yesterday, I preached my first sermon at our church. I’ve put the link to it on YouTube, if you want to watch it. Please forgive the hum in the beginning. They had difficulty getting my microphone to work. 🙂
On Feb. 28, 2021, I received my local license to preach in the church of the Nazarene. Last month I began taking classes at Nazarene Bible College. It’s been a challenge to get back into student mode, but the Lord is helping me.
So, what about my writing?
Writing papers for class leaves little time for fiction, but I still find time to jot down an idea or conversation. Three different stories are in the works. I just don’t know when any of them will be finished. 🙂
As far as our homeschool and life, my girls finished the year very well. They are enjoying the relaxed sleeping hours, like all teenagers do. 🙂 Soon, church camp will be upon us, and my girls are more than excited for a “normal” summer. I’m beginning week 4 of class and looking forward to a break after week 6. Life is good, and God is faithful.
I pray you stay healthy and remember to smile. Jesus loves you, after all.
