My 16-year-old has a sunburn and can successfully handle riding on public transportation and going to the Dollar General by herself. Stevie the cat can successfully leap to the top of my shower doors and walk back and forth on the flat piece up top. My easily distracted 13-year-old has not finished her math assignment for the day. I have 8 documents open in my word processor at the moment and my kindle app open to my textbook for my class, Intro to the Old Testament. My husband is on his way home from work and will probably turn on the TV. And, it’s only Monday.
If you follow this blog, you’ll know it has been a while since I have posted anything. For that, I am sorry, especially, if you like reading my posts.
For those of you who have read thus far, here’s a quick recap of why I’ve been absent from the blog.
My classes started on Aug. 2. My girls started their homeschool classes on the 9th. My 16-year-old started precosmetology on Aug. 10. She was exposed to the current contagion and tested positive on the 14th. A couple of weeks later, her dad and I testsed positive. My husband was of work for 10 days, and God sure was with us, because we’re still here to tell the tale. LOL Fast forward to today, and that’s my story…and, I’m sticking to it. 🙂
Well, time to red a chapter or 2 before the crazy starts again. Before I leave, here’s a verse worth clinging to.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans, 8:28, KJV).
Blessings.
