Born and raised among the West Virginia hills, S.J. Wells loves God, her family and books in that order. She is a minister’s wife and a homeschooler. When not writing, you can find her reading, listening to and playing music, baking, yarn crafting or just spending time with family and friends.
Blind since birth due to glaucoma, cataracts and scar tissue, she welcomes challenges and loves to share her positive attitude with others. Her blog is on the homepage of this site.
S. J. Wells also helped maintain a blog with her friend, Anita Adkins that encourages students of all ages who are blind or visually impaired to live happy and productive lives. That blog, adkinsandwells.blogspot.com was born as a way to promote their textbook, “Ducking into UEB”, a book that teaches braille to students from grades 4-12 and older readers.
